CKSS II Solid Insulated Switchgear

   CKSS solid insulation switch is an environmentally friendly solid insulation switch   which has an excellent insulation properties that make it a reliable and safe range of switchgear for a range of industries where reliability and safety are paramount in the operation of there switchgear。 The range is up to 24kv 630A 50HZ

The switch is made up of three structures which include V (circuit breaker module) C (load switch) and F (load switch combination unit) 

The epoxy moulding uses APG technology from Germany and the need for SF6 insulation is eliminated providing a safe and compact range of switchgear.

Its advantages include compact size, full insulation without gas filling, environmentally friendly, low maintenance and long life operation.

The units can be fully automated to ensure compatibility with a SCADA system or smart grid network。

The units are very easy to install and extend or replace as required by changes to the network

 

Solid insulation forms the basis of a integrated   unit which is designed to integrate either a vacuum circuit breaker or load break disconnector or fuse switch unit which includes an integral earthing switch.

·         Units can be made up of individual modules including metering units, VT modules that can extended if required based on operational needs today or for the future.

·         The poles are integrated   and with high creep age distance design which provides excellent electric field   performance.

·    The earth switch make properties is based on the vacuum switch that ensures that the earth switch is fully rated  for fault make capabilities

·     IP67  rating for electrical isolation and   IP4X for internal segregation

Cable type bushings fully comply with European DIN standards to DIN 47636. The  design allows for surge arrestors as an option or dual  cable connection up to 300 mm sq cable

·     The epoxy moulding with German APG  process ensures  high mechanical strength  ,thermal  insulation  control  to prevent failure through high temperature breakdown, low moisture penetration

·      Fuse  canisters design is fully encapsulated  to ensure  zero partial discharge are are fully interlocked for operational safety

·      Front mimic are simple and easy to understand for operational personnel. Visible break with window ensures positive isolation of contacts

·      Full padlocking facilities  on switching functions ensures  safety compliance for operational personnel.This can comprise a active lock system or padlock or electromagnetic lock

·      Disconnector and circuit breaker functions can be fully automated with motorisation to interface with SCADA or smart grid network.

Standard self powered relays on the V (vacuum circuit breaker) come as standard however other relay options are available dependent on client specification


      This criteria of design ensures a seamless integration into any network system
